Adrianna woke up in a daze. She felt terrible, yet at the same time, alive. Her body ached from the beating it had taken, but she felt an uplifting pulse. It wasn't quite as a heartbeat would be, but energy humming through her. She sat up to get a grip on what exactly happened after she passed out and that's when she saw it.
She was naked and covered in blood, but there were no wounds on her body. Around her however, were bodies. She noticed that she recognized a few of the ones next to her as those of the enemies. Her allies must've come to her rescue- no that's not right. Why would she still be here? Wait...
A few feet away from her on her right was one of the people she came with, although she couldn't remember his name. More and more she saw faces of both friend and foe and realized it was their blood that covered her. She didn't have time to panic though as she heard a noise from the door. It was a guard that she assumed was part of the Soldiers of the True Dragon.
Suddenly, a sharp pain surged through her and made her scream as two giant blood-red wings emerged from her back. As her mind started reeling from the pain, a voice in the back of her head said something unintelligible. She strained to hear what it said to no avail. It started getting louder and louder until she couldn't think straight through it. It was her own voice, but not- and it only said one thing over and over in a seductive voice.
"Kill them all."
