Chapter 8

Astrid POV

I arrived back at the house after spending some time with Tristan, I felt like I was on cloud nine, my heart skipped a beat just thinking about him and our encounter. I walked towards the front door and paused as reality hit me, I had to face her, she would hate me but who was I to argue with the moon goddess, its not like I asked for this! I reached for the handle and pushed the door open slowly and quietly, hoping that she wasnt home or hadn't heard the news, I stepped inside and looked around and no one seemed to be around. I closed the door silently and made my way up stairs, I reached the top and was met with the face of pure rage, Adeline's breathing was fast and irregular, I could tell she'd been crying. "You little b***h, how dare you take what's mine, he is mine and you took him from me" she sobbed. I reached out and touched her arm, as soon as my hand made the connection she recoiled away from me, "Don't touch me, we are no longer family, you have planned this somehow, gotten a witch to enchant him or something, he would never be yours, you are not fit to be his luna, or anyone's Luna for that matter" she screamed in my face. "I'm sorry Addy, I didnt plan this, it just happened, I won't reject my goddess given mate, i'm sorry, I hope you find yours soon" I spoke softly. I had nothing left to say to her, I went to move past her and head to my room.

As I got past her a great pain shot through the back of my head, she had a fist full of my hair and yanked my head back. She brought my face close to hers, I'd never been scared of my siblings before, but I didn't recognise the person I grew up with, she was someone entirely different. "Listen here you little man stealing w***e, I will make sure he rejects your worthless self, I will make your life hell and just when you think it can't get any worse, I will take whats yours and have it as my own" she said with a fury that i'd never seen before. "have a nice trip" she said with a wink as she threw me backwards down the stairs. A sharp pain arose from my ribs and i'd assumed i'd broken at least one on my way down, I looked up as she descended from the stairs herself, before leaving she landed two swift kicks to my abdomen, then left out the front door mumbling to herself as per usual. Throughout the whole assault I held my wolf at bay, my father had always told us that we were never to harm our siblings, and although she was 3 years older I was much faster and competent than she was.

I groaned as I sat up from the pain, 'You need to rest, my little human, I can fix these overnight, but why would you not allow me to assist you' Freya asked me. 'It's complicated Freya, it's just easier if it let her get her anger out, trust me' I told her as she huffed at me. She wasn't happy about it, but accepted my words. 'It will not happen again my little one, she will not touch us again' she said surely, before retreating to the back of my mind to get to work on healing my wounds. I stayed seated at the base of the stairs, dreading the pain I'd feel when I stood to climb the stairs. I flinched as the front door flew open, and I was about to jump to my feet to defend myself this time, but instead I saw my two brothers, both stop and stare at me. "What on earth are you doing down there?" Aiden asked me with an amused look on his face. "This is courtesy of Addy," I said to him raising my top up to reveal the bruising that had already started to form. Axel's face contorted, "I hope you taught her a lesson Astrid, you can take her and you know it" he said. "No, I didnt, dad has always told us not to hurt one another, and I can understand why she's upset, so i'll cut her some slack this once but not again" I said to them both. They both nodded in agreement, "So, the future alpha hey? when do we have to start calling you luna" Aiden said playfully nudging axel in the ribs as he spoke. "Immediately!" I laughed "Now help me up stairs, I need to lay down after that!". They both hurried to my side and picked me up off the floor, assisting me to my room and leaving me to rest.

I took out my phone and sent a quick text to Tristan 'The full moon is in 2 days, Freya is excited to meet Thor' I sent hte message and rolled onto the side of my body that didn't ache. My phone vibrated, I picked it up and opened the message 'Thor is excited to, but I'm more excited to spend more time with you, I can't wait to claim you, all of you'. I read the text over to myself a few times and felt a wetness build in my core. 'Stop it Tristan, theres only so much I can do on my own here' I sent in return, biting my lip knowing it would set him off. As soon as the reply came in, I opened it as quickly as possible 'Oh my little wolf, you tempt me so much, so many things I want to do to you that will have you screaming my name' I read. 'I'll think about them while I put myself to sleep, good night xx' I sent back quickly before pulling off any clothing I had on. I rubbed my fingers over my n*****s, which had already formed stiff peaks, but I was hasty, I wanted my release. I rubbed circles on my c**t roughly chasing my own release, I knew exactly how much pressure to use and in no time at all and orgasm ripped through my body. I showered quickly and climbed back into bed, my own thoughts lulling me to sleep.
