Catherine was almost caught when Jude called out to her but she quickly regained her composure and hid the bug.
"Aren't you leaving?" Jude asked, showing a hint of displeasure in his face and tone.
"Why are you in such a hurry to chase me away?" Catherine asked back as a way to stall time. She still hasn't placed the bug well.
"Like I said, I have a job to do and you being here isn't helping at all." Jude muttered, trying to conceal his anger.
He's the first person in the company that had the guts to speak that way to her without any ounce of fear of loosing his job and that only made Catherine more sure of her suspicions.
He really does have someone big that's backing him in the company or else, he wouldn't even dare to look her in the eyes.
