I rush towards Rebecca, sprinting my every step.
My heart is still beating so heavy like it's going to come out any second now.
She is waiting near her car, for me.
I don't see much of a crowd.
Everybody is probably getting drunk and celebrating the victory.
Or just getting drunk to cover the pain of loss which sucks like always.
But I feel floating in the air
Like I'm the happiest in the entire world.
If I can pinch myself to assure that I'm not dreaming I would.

I scream out loud all excited as I pull her into an embrace.
Hugging her close and tight.
She smiles slightly, her face looks taken back as I look at her.
Pulling away from our embrace, as I breathe out relaxed like I'm on the cloud nine.
