I slide my hand under his tux coat, and he squeezes my waist, as we dance for another song.
I don't know about him, but my heart is beating heavy like an ache.
This is close yet the walls between us.
He is right, I'm not worth the risk to put his people at stake.
But I want this to be just us, at least for one day

I go on my toes as I whisper in his ears
And he looks at me.
His gray eyes look darker as the light is dim.
"I see a couple behind us kiss"
I state ,bluntly not knowing what other way I have to tell him that I need a kiss too
And he just looks at me, his eyes still like I have the hold on them
"Can we pretend like a couple and can you ki.."
Before I can ask him to kiss he twirls us around
And his eyes falls on the couple I mentioned
