Veronica's POV
We stayed at the church for an hour before I was able to gather my courage to get up and leave him.
"Veronica please," he pleaded but I continued walking even though I am limping. I forced myself to walk away while carrying the heaviness and pain that they caused me.
"I will ask someone to get my things in your unit," I uttered then stopped walking and turned to him.
"I am cutting my ties with you Sebastián. I will file a divorce," I uttered and I saw how shocked he is by my decision.
Pain crossed his eyes. I saw him stand up and was about to go near me but I shook my head.
"Please let me f*****g go. I am tired of dealing with all your shits." I uttered then turned my back on him and continued walking.
I grabbed a taxi and gave him the address of my condo unit.
