CHAPTER 15 (Step Up)
Days and nights passed like blur. Before, I was just trying to get away from the Carlins until I set foot for the very first time in this university. Had a boyfriend at 19 and then had my very first breakup at 21 then attempted suicide which turned all the unexpected things in life. And now, I am here amidst the crowd that are proud of each achievements that they have earned.
After four long years, my college journey ended and today, I will get my diploma. I never really noticed time since all I did think was to survive and maintain my grades so that I will have the scholarship. Now, I am wearing a black toga and graduation dress as I am marching towrds my seat. I roamed my eyes around and I saw him, the man who is so proud of me – my husband.
