CHAPTER 17 (The Gift)
I peeked at the window and I saw that the clouds were covering the sun. The chance of raining is very low yet the whole day I think will be a bit dark. I whirled around as I heard a knock at the door’s room.
“Ma’am, the Master wants to see you,” said a voice coming from a maid. Me and my husband are staying here at his parents mansion. Mom did not let us go and she said that we should stay for a couple of days. I know that she becomes sad and bored in here when her husband goes to the office.
“I’ll be there in a minute!” I replied back. I picked up my scrunchy and ties my hair using it. I fixed my dress first and looked at the mirror to see if everything is looking good. after being satisfied, I exited the room and I saw the maid when I opened the door.
