Our goodbyes were hastily said to the flock and all the children. Parents took their children deeper into the hallways, and I realized that was where the flock members were staying. It was like the house was all to ourselves as we our footsteps filled the hallway. Louis’ seemed more relaxed than before after playing with the children and my heart ached for him. He would make a wonderful dad, Marcus would too. It was obvious to me by how the younger ones had toddled after him, ready to be picked up and cuddled. He was loved and he loved them. I stopped to lean against the wall, “I can’t keep up with the pace you three are setting in my heels.” I panted and Sin stepped closer to me. Louis skirted around him with a smirk and scooped me up, “Allow me.” He smiled. “Louis, no.”
