I was reliving the same scene I had experienced years ago with my mother. Seeing Vernon on that bed surrounded by doctors heading to the operating room gave me goosebumps from the fear of not knowing if I would see him alive again. A tough reality I couldn't shake off.
I felt my hands sweating from the anxiety that was hitting my body. Now I understood why Bruno couldn't tell him all this time about our separation.
