Coming home and being greeted by a surprise of that magnitude is priceless. I walked in with my heart pounding, ready to punch the first person I saw. My clothes, my shoes, my skincare routine, the kitchen utensils, for crying out loud! Even the half-used toilet paper had disappeared.
Everything was gone, and the only thing left in my apartment was the emptiness and the echo of my footsteps hitting the dirty floor from moving the furniture. I didn't think Bruno would go this far for not agreeing to be his fake wife.
