I kept my eyes closed as I focused on my breathing, as hard as I could. But having Mason’s hands in mine helped me relax, so thankfully, it worked. After a while, it felt as if a part of me was lifted from the bed. When I had closed my eyes, everything around me was dark, but once I had felt myself being lifted, my surroundings turned into white. I kept floating, until my feet hit the floor. I looked around in awe.
