Myakka river state park

I woke up to the sound of someone banging on the door. I opened my eyes, seeing Ava was still wrapped around me, breathing heavily in her sleep, her arms resting against my chest as our legs were tangled into one huge knot. I could already tell who was behind the door, and my mood was not having it today. *Mason, what?!* I linked at him, coming off more angry than I had wanted. *Dude, they have a breakfast buffet here, I’m digging in, are you coming or what?* I sighed as I looked down at my little mate, what I wouldn’t do to just stay in bed with her all day. But I knew we had to get up at some point, and we hadn’t eaten since yesterday’s lunch. Except for some snacks that Mason had taken from the grocery store in the Everglades. *Go ahead, we’ll be right behind you.* I linked back at Mason, hearing his footsteps go away from our door. I leaned in to my mate as I softly placed kisses on her shoulder, which made Ava hum while she slowly started to move and stretch herself under my touch. “Morning love.” I whispered at her, before placing a peck on the tip of her nose. “They have a breakfast buffet here, we need to eat, my pretty little thing has to stay healthy.” She hummed again as her arms wrapped around my neck and she pulled me closer, shifting her body so I was lying on top of her. “There’s something else I need to do, besides eating Seb.” She hummed as she pouted her lips at me, making me lean to the front immediately to kiss them. The softness of her lips still amazed me to this day. “Oh yeah, what’s that?” I asked her, playing along with her little game. “It is our two month anniversary today, as you said last night, and we need to work on our mate bond.” She spoke as she playfully wiggled her hips underneath me, a growl escaping from the back of my throat as she grinded against my d**k. Shit, This girl already has my balls in her purse. “ OK, so how can we work on our mate bond? You know I will do anything to make my mate feel good.” She giggled, as she pulled the sheets over our heads. “I do know one or two things.” Before our lips locked and we shielded ourselves under the blankets, away from the outside world. Mason looked angry when we walked over to the table where he was sitting, an hour after he had stood in front of our door. By the looks of it, he had already eaten for an entire army. “Seriously, you guys can’t go one day without climbing on top of each other?” He sighed as he looked in the distance, annoyed. “Guess what shithead,” Ava went back at him, “It’s what mates do, get used to it. If it wasn’t for you, we would be going at it like wild animals.” My d**k twitched at Ava’s words as I looked at her in wonder. “Well f**k, now I really only want to do this trip with you alone. Mason, go back home.” I grinned at Mason for the last part, but he wasn’t in for my jokes today. I sighed hard as I sat next to him, while Ava was already walking towards the buffet, grabbing herself a plate. “Mason, what’s wrong?” I asked him, knowing what was wrong with him. I just didn’t know how to help him. “I think it would have been better if we would have just gone with the two of us, she is slowing us down.” I rolled my eyes at him. “Mason, that’s my mate, she goes where I go. Once you find yours, you’ll understand.” I stood up as I playfully punched him on his shoulder. “And when you find her, I will be your personal c**k blocker. We’ll see if you like it then, just as much as I do now.” Mason rolled his eyes at me, before I turned around to check out the breakfast buffet. Shit, This is going to be a loooong day! After breakfast, we went back to our rooms to get our stuff and dropped everything in our car. I placed the coordinates on the GPS system, and we were off to the Myaka river state park. After half an hour, we made our way to the entrance, where, again, an officer was waiting to check out every car and where people needed to pay for the entrance fee. Before it was our turn, Ava already pushed a 10$ bill under my nose, giving me looks to pay this time, or we would not have s*x for a month. So I gladly paid the officer before we drove inside. We parked the car near the visitor center and took a look inside. An older woman was standing behind the register as she greeted us with a warm smile. “If you have any questions, don’t mind asking.” Ava smiled back at her while she walked over to a rack which was filled with magazines and flyers from different tourist attractions in the neighborhood. I knew how much she wanted to go on a real vacation. I had already made myself a promise to take her on one, once we would be done here. I cleared my throat as I walked over to the lady. “Good morning, I don’t know if you could help me. I am searching for Brandon, he should be living around here somewhere.” The woman’s smile slowly sank as she looked at me in wonder. “Who is asking?” I turned as I looked at Mason. “The Beta and Gamma of the Denali pack, we would like a word with Alpha Brandon, we won’t take too much of his time.” The woman looked around as she watched at Ava. “She is my mate, she doesn’t hurt a fly.” I smiled at the woman, who now nodded at me as she took a phone. “One moment please.” She told me as she turned, her back facing me as she whispered at the phone. After a few seconds, she placed the phone down and turned back at me. “The Alpha will see you, you can take your car and drive off on the ‘Ranch House Road’, she spoke as she was marking it on a small map she had lying next to the register. “Park your car at the first cabin you spot, someone will be waiting for you there to bring you to the Alpha.” I nodded at the woman, as I thanked her for her time, before Mason and Ava walked with me outside. We jumped back in the car and drove off into the wilderness, following wooden arrows which had the words ‘upper Myakka lake’ on them. Right before the lake came into full view, a small arrow pointed to the right, which had ‘Ranch House Road’ on it. I took a turn and drove off onto an old abandoned dirt road. I wouldn’t be surprised if I drove over an alligator or something down here. *Keep your eyes open* I linked to Mason, I didn’t want to scare Ava, but we still knew nothing about this pack and we needed to have our guards up. A small wooden cabin came into view, and when we parked the car, a bald man stepped outside. “Follow me.” He stated, as he walked to his own car and nodded at us. “Get in.” Ava looked at me, not knowing what to do. But I winked at her, trying to relax her, she smiled at me and did as she was told. Mason climbed into the passenger’s seat next to Baldy, while me and Ava took the backseat. My wolf Hunter was on high alert while my arm was wrapped around my mate, holding her close. I would protect her with everything I had in me. I was just hoping I wouldn’t have to use magic in this place. The fewer people who knew about me and Mason having magical powers, the better.
