Walk it off

1504 Words
Damian My plan was working, especially after cornering her in her laundry room. I wanted to help with her knee, but I couldn’t risk being that close to her delicious blood. I have control, but with how I am right now, I don’t want to risk it. Damn it! I wanted to pin her down and rip her clothing off. Her blood and arousal were causing me to go insane! But her stupid friend interrupted me. I was behind the house, setting up the last of her cameras. I found myself thinking about dinner... I’m going to have to stomach this food and throw it up later. My body won’t vomit unless there’s human food in me. I can’t process it. There’s no place for it to go but out. It’s just about timing it, so I don’t spew all over her house. I’ve been trying to throw hints at her at what I am, so when it comes up, it doesn’t scare her into a heart attack. My mind drifted, reaching out and searching for her wavelength. It whispered its way into my head, like a seductive haze. I had to brace myself against the wall as her thoughts of me on top of her flashed through my mind. My fangs popped out as I clamped down on my palm, trying to fight off the urge to break down her f*****g door. Maybe I should. What’s stopping me? I finished up drilling in the last screw as her thoughts changed to how she was feeling about me. She then compared her feelings to that sleaze ball and was thinking about how it’d be wrong to just throw away all the years she spent with him. I ended up breaking my power drill in my hands as anger surged in me. Ooops. I quickly stuffed it into the bag as to hide the evidence, cursing under my breath. I rolled my eyes as I could hear Jake approaching. Pfft, he even walks like a douche. I stood up as Jess started telling him off. “Order a damn Uber back home! She doesn’t want to see you!” “Shut your mouth, you don’t tell me what she wants,” He snappily responded. “NO! She’s in the shower. Leave her alone!” Jess yelled at him. I ground my teeth as. “And? MOVE!” His voice became annoying. I rolled my neck as I cracked my knuckles. Murder on the first date? Count me in. I turned, taking a step as Poppy’s thoughts ran to me. ‘Oh no... I don’t know if I can say no,’ her mind whispered as she was panicked. “Jake! She’s showering!” Jess yelled again. What he said next had me striding to the front in an instant. “And? You’re acting like I’ve never seen her goods before,” I heard him shove Jess. Her body hit the wall. I quickly made my way around the corner to the door. “Everything...” I halted as Jake’s thoughts burned their way into me. ‘I’ll take her right now, show her the consequences of taking off with another man.’ I bared my teeth as Jess looked at me, tears in her eyes. She didn’t have to say a single word. Her mind told me everything I needed to know. “JAKE!” I heard Poppy scream as I was instantly up the stairs in her door frame. “The f**k are you doing?” I hissed as I grabbed the man with ease, yanking him off her. “None of your goddamned business!” He attempted to shove me away. Shock washed over his face, as my body didn’t budge. I shot a glance over his shoulder. Poppy struggled to place her towel back on. “Did he touch you?” I asked her. She whimpered as Jake stepped in front of her. “This doesn’t concern you, asshole!” He spat at me. Poppy’s mind was racing. Images of the times he’s done this to her before popped into my head, sending me into a blind fury. I grabbed the insect by his throat, lifting him off the ground. Fear rolled off him as Poppy’s eyes widened. “It concerns me because I’m here...” I glared into his soul as I threw him out the door, his body slamming and shaking the walls of the house. I towered over him as I bared my teeth. “Leave... NOW!” I roared as he struggled to get his footing. He finally stood up; his face furrowed as he tried to square up with me. “Please... Please stop!” Poppy yelled at us as I clenched my fists. Jake stepped forward, his face inches from mine. “I’ll leave when she tells me to.” He seethed. I scoffed, reaching around and grabbing the back of his neck as I took his arm in a hold. I pulled it straight, shoving his head down as I roughly escorted him down the stairs. He spat and sputtered as Jess stared wide-eyed at us. I threw him out of the door, his face smashing into the dirt and skidding a good few feet. He coughed out a mouthful of dirt as he tried to stand up. “You leave when I tell you to leave...” I stood in the doorway, cracking my knuckles. “She’s MINE!” He yelled as he wiped dirt from his mouth. “She’ll never let you touch her...” He grinned as he adjusted his shirt. “Oh? Funny...” I lifted my fingers to my mouth, spreading them and licking them. “Because I already know what she tastes like.” I grinned from ear to ear as his expression dropped. I heard Jess gasp. “I knew it!” She giggled as Jake’s face burned red. “You...” He was about to say w***e. I held my gaze with his as I furled my lip. “Leave, WALK home,” I demanded, as his body snapped straight. His eyes became blank as he turned around, heading to leave the property. I stood there, watching him leave. Once he was out of sight, I spat at the floor. ‘I’ll be taking my time skinning you alive’, I grinned at that thought. I turned on my heel, facing Jess, who was fanning herself. ‘So goddamn hot’, her thought wiggled into my head. I snapped my attention up the stairs as Poppy’s emotions hit me. I took a step forward, heading up to check on her. She was curled up on her bed, her legs tucked in front of her face as her arms were wrapped around them. Her muffled sobs rang through my ears, causing me to halt in my steps. “I-I’m sorry...” she sniffed, taking the edge of her towel and wiping her nose on it. She slowly drifted her gaze upwards towards me as I stood in the doorway. I folded my arms, leaning on the doorframe. I need to play my cards right. “That’s quite alright mic rosu,” I flashed a smile at her as she blushed, looking away from me. “I’ll leave ya be; it seems he won’t be coming back tonight.” I pushed off the frame, turning to head out. ‘No... please...’ her thought rang out clear. I paused, looking slightly over my shoulder at her. “You... don’t have to. You’re more than welcome to stay for... dinner.” She mumbled as she stood up, her grip on her towel tight, turning her knuckles white. I sucked in a breath, turning, and within one step, I was towering over her. She froze as I snaked my hand under her towel, grabbing a handful of her ass. “You and I both know...” I leaned down, hovering my lips over her ear. “That’s a bad idea... Poppy,” I whispered into her ear as she pushed into me. ‘Oh... please take me...’ Hmmm such a delicious thought, but I had plans, even though I wanted to take her right here and now. Make her scream and writhe under me as her friend listened to me f*****g Poppy’s brains out. I released her, taking a step back as she whimpered, pulling her brows together as she pleadingly looked up at me. She only wanted me so she could forget her ex, and I wouldn’t let it go that way. I want her to want me; I needed her to need me. I turned around, grabbing her door and closing it as I left. I skipped the top of the steps as I landed at the bottom, giving Jess a nod as I walked out of the house. With long strides, cracking my knuckles, I was at my bike in no time. I hopped on, throwing my helmet on. Time to find Jake. I grinned a devious grin as I started my motorcycle.
