Azriel Three days. Three agonizing days of being pinned to that metal slab, wrapped in silver chains that slowly but surely drained the life out of me. The wounds on my wrists and chest had stopped bleeding, but only because the silver had burned the flesh off, leaving behind a dull, throbbing ache that pulsed with every heartbeat.
