My mind started to race, as I began to panic. I heard his name go throughout my body over and over again. I haven’t been talking to the future Beta this entire time right? I mean technically that should be better news for me, because that meant I could use him to get closer to Jett, but suddenly the whole idea to use him just seemed...wrong.
I listened more intently now that I felt Connor was involved. “We still have a few more weeks until Xavier takes over, so I’ve decided to invite the Alpha and Beta over early to get to know them. It’s important that we learn of the pack's new values before we make any rash decisions.” My father turned to Henry the Commander of our army, “Henry I trust you can find me a soldier who can help deliver this message safely to the pack.”
