I held Gale’s hand tightly in mine. I knew the Illinois pack was expecting Alpha Jett, and Vampire Luna Nova. Not Beta Connor and his vampire mate. I was worried that they wouldn’t treat Gale with the same respect that they would Nova. I knew it was important for Jett to be with Nova though, and I also knew the Illinois Alpha and Luna shouldn’t be kept waiting.
