Leaving her when I just found out we were about to have a family was one of the hardest things I had to do. I couldn’t believe how much my heart hurt, and how much Zeke was whining. He was complaining that we didn’t just send Connor and Gale. I couldn’t though. I knew that Connor would hate himself if something happened to Gale. This was something I had to do for Nova.
I wanted to find Ellie or the witch as fast as possible. If I found Ellie first I wanted to kill her, if I found the witch first, I wasn’t sure what I would do. Would I tell her everything that has happened and make sure she doesn’t help Ellie. Would I threaten her? No that wouldn’t help, she deals with dark magic, it would only backfire.
