Lord's Journal Entries;
I mustn’t disappoint my family. I mustn’t bring them shame. I cannot afford to become attached here in ways that would affect the future. I find that this is harder since I met the princess. Young as she is, she has a fierceness that would be appreciated back home, and her lineage cannot be questioned at all. She herself is able to choose who she will marry, a rarity in her culture, but well in line with my own. She even appears to be actively seeking a husband.
The invites to her quarters have gone out to most of the men in my area of the palace, all of them very generic, asking if we will come to a tea. Invites to banquets have begun to come in as well. It appears she wants to establish relations with all of us and then find who she will choose to love. It's s
