Akki’s POV:
Nandu came towards me and take the seat.
“What happened?” Nandu asked.
I said everything to Nandu.
“It's ok. Do you know that how he is will be insecure coming to you? Don't worry he will be alright? I called him.
He said that he will herein 15min. “Please be careful and don’t do again,” said Nandu.
“Thank you, Nandu,” I said.
“For what?” Nandu asked.
“For understanding my state of mind and not telling anything to ma and papa,” I said.
“That in case you should more worry because your Hitler knows everything,” said Nandu.
“What! Vicky knows everything, How? I said.
“He has his own means of communication madam,” Nandu said.
“Now, I am totally screwed up. He will never listen to me now onwards” I said.
“What will I never listen,” Vicky said coming towards the bed.
“Oh bro, you are here,” said Nandu.
“Yes, what are talking about?” Vicky asked.
“Nothing much,” I said by seeing Nandu not tell anything with eyes.
But this i***t will never ever listen to me. He said everything to Vicky.
“Obviously, Now I will never listen to you coming towards your health. So, please stop talking and take a rest” Vicky said by raising his voice.
“Bro take care of Akki, I’m going and you (Akki) get will soon,” Nandu said and went away.
Both the brothers will be the death of mine. I smilingly turned towards Vicky but he made his stern face said to take rest.
“Vicky! I’m sorry, I should not say like that” I said
He did not say anything and went to seat on the sofa. I feel bad and tears form in my eyes. I laid on the bed and starting crying.
Vicky slowly turned his face and saw Akki and felt bad.
“Akki stop crying,” Vicky said by coming toward her.
“No, I’m not crying,” I said.
Vicky did not say anything
Akki started crying vigorously because of his silence. Vicky felt bad and sat near her to console her.
“Vicky I am sorry; I will not tell that again. Please forgive me” I said.
“First stop crying, you know that I don’t like when you cry and never talk about the death again,” Vicky said by taking her inside hug.
Akki sleeps on him.
Vicky’s POV:
“I am not angry with you Akki. I was angry with myself that I was not able to protect you which I need to do. Please forgive me” I said and make her laid on the bed.
I sat in the chair next to her holding her.
“I will protect you from everything,” I said kissing her forehead.
I don’t know when sleep consumes me. I opened my eyes in the morning when I felt a hand in my hair and caressing it.
“Vicky” she called. Whenever she calls me by name my heart skips a bit.
“Yes Akki,” I said.
“Why are sleeping in this uncomfortable position?” she asked me.
“Don’t worry I’m ok” I said kissing her forehead over the bandage.
“How are you, baby girl?” I asked looking into her eyes.
“I’m fine and I want to do home,” she said.
The door opened and the doctor came inside to check her condition.
“How are you feeling Akira?” she asked her.
“I am feeling much fine doctor,” she said to her.
“Doctor can I go home now?” she asked.
“Yes, you can but please be careful and don’t strain yourself for somedays. Your bandage will be removed after 4 days and the mark will go slowly” she said.
The doctor went away and I call Nandu to come.
Soon Nandu came and completed all the procedures for discharge and started to our home. We reached home.
Nandu stepped into the house, while Akki and Vicky going to enter the house. Mom asks them to stop.
Akki’s POV:
“Welcome beta,” said mom came forward and did aarthi rituals.
“Vicky take her to the room,” said mom.
Vicky takes her to the room and makes her lay on the bed.
“Take rest. I have some work I will come after a few minutes” said Vicky.
Vicky waits some time and went away after I slept.
Vicky went down and asks Nandu to keep an eye on Akki and make sure she eats and take medicines and went away.
Author’s POV:
After some time Akki wakes up and fresh up. She went down and saw family members were talking. Nandu saw her ask her to sit. Akki came and sat beside the mom and dad.
“Where is Vicky?” ask Akki.
“He went out, he will be here in few minutes,” said mom.
“Akki let eat something and you need to take rest also,” said mom.
Nandu said that he completed his lunch and went away to the office.
“Mom, can I ask you something?”
“I want to join the office, as I will get bore while sitting alone?” said Akki.
“No beta, please take rest for some days,” said mom.
“You can join after 1 week. Please take leave from work” said mom requesting.
“Ok ma,” I said hugging her.
Akki went to her room and open her laptop checking her Emails.
After sometime Vicky came and see Akki is working on her laptop.
“Akki what are you doing?” Did I tell you to take rest not work? Vicky yelled at her.
“Vicky I’m just checking my emails,” she said innocently.
This girl is impossible.
“I don’t know anything. Just assign it to some other person. By the way I think Nandu had applied for the leave on behalf of you” said Vicky.
“I’m fine Vicky,” said Akki.
“Look Akira! you may be the best architecture out there but not here... Well, I'm the boss. You are patient and need to stay in bed” He yelled at her.
Akki felt bad but Vicky just wants to laugh but seeing her expression but composed that he is bad at her.
“Did you had your lunch and take your medicine?” Ask Vicky.
“I had it,” said Akki but not seeing him.
Vicky's intense gaze is fixed on her and Akki saw that.
“What?” she asked him.
“Can’t I look at my beautiful wife?” he says smilingly caused her to blush more.
“Vicky” she whines.
“What angel?” He asked like he didn’t say anything.
“Did you have lunch?” Asked him by diverting him.
“No not yet,” He said.
“Wait I will prepare something to eat,” said Akki.
“Oh, hello you are patient don’t forget that. Don’t worry I said mom to prepare something and send it here” said Vicky.
Vicky had lunch and starting working laptop sometime.
He saw Akki sleeping peacefully went to hear and pat her head and kiss on her forehead and went outside.
