Chapter 34 Drop Out of School

1274 Words
After the sound of tires squealing, the car stopped smoothly. Kevin looked at the long arc on the ground extending from the back of the car. He had never seen anyone use the old malfunctioning car to drift.   Kevin’s expression changed, the young man next to him had to be a professional driver. He had no doubt that Robert could pass the rest of the test, and of course, he did.   When they were finished and Robert passed the test, Kevin said, “Although you receive full marks for your test, we cannot give you a license. You are suspected of cheating.”   Robert clenched his teeth and asked, “So, what happens now?”   He was trying not to explode, he knew that Kevin was purposely trying to cause problems.   Kevin put his hand out, “What do you think?”   In his other hand was the paper Robert needed to get his driver’s license. Robert understood immediately what Kevin was implying, he took out a thick wad of cash. After he stuffed the money into Kevin’s hand, Robert knocked him to the ground and kicked him, “That money isn’t a bribe! It is for your medical expenses!”   Robert pulled out a Fiery Rune and put it on Kevin’s chest, lowering the power to a minimum, “I will be kind to you this time. If you can’t handle this, then your wife can buy a coffin with the money I gave you!”   As Robert walked away with his driver’s license, he cursed, “I will never come back to this shitty place again!”   He stepped on the accelerator when he got into his Maserati and didn’t look back. Robert stopped by the Bush’s home to pick up Abby and Adele before going to Portledge School.   The moment they entered the school gate, they heard an announcement, "Robert Martin, after careful consideration taken by Portledge School’s authorities, we are revoking your student status and expelling you from school. This is effective immediately! Your disturbance and damage to others financially and physically is unethical. To the other students, take this as a warning of what can happen if you do not follow the rules! Thank you for listening and have a great day!”   Abby and Donald had been right, Robert was kicked out of school.   "What is happening?” Adele asked anxiously, confused by the message.     Abby frowned. She looked at Adele and said, "Adele, don’t worry! You go to class; Robert and I will go to the dean’s office!”   She pulled Robert by the arm and walked away. Pushing open the door to the Office of Academic Affairs, Abby didn’t wait, she rushed in and snapped, “Why does Robert need to leave the school?”   Aaron sneered and replied, "Why? I think you know why! He beat Jon Ossoff, the principal’s son! If it had happened before, they would have buried him alive!”   Robert tilted his head and asked, "Makes sense! But let me ask you one simple question if Jon wanted to sleep with your wife, what can you do about it? If you tell him no, then you would be in the same boat!”   Aaron was speechless, he paused for a moment, "Anyway, the final decision was made by the principal. You need to leave!”   "No, he can’t leave! Okay, how about you name a price? How much will it cost for you to help us so that he can stay?” Abby wanted him to stay.   "Money?! I know he has lots of money and he could buy everything at the auction. But, this time money won’t help!” Aaron was furious, he threw his glass at the wall.   “Is that true?” Abby was stunned, and she looked at Robert seriously.   Robert didn't reply, but he turned his head to avoid eye contact. He coughed and asked Aaron, “Then what can we do to fix this?”   "Hmm, interesting, I would like to talk about her..." Aaron hesitated for a second and pointed to Abby.   "We have nothing to talk about!" Abby snarled.   "Hmm, a wild one! I like it..." Aaron licked his lips.   "Robert, you took Meenas from me at the auction. Don’t you think I deserve to have Abby?” He stood up and reach his hand out to Abby, “How about you spend some time with me? And then I am sure Robert can stay!”   "f**k you!" Robert shouted and swung his fist at Aaron. He would beat him to death for talking to Abby like that.   "f**k! You want my help but you hit me?” Aaron pulled out a stun gun from his drawer and shot Robert without hesitating. Aaron laughed, “How does that feel?”   However, Robert didn’t feel a thing. The moment the electrodes hit Robert, the Ghostbuster System automatically activated his protection mechanism.   "How is this even possible?!” Aaron questioned. He thought that being attacked with such a high voltage Robert would be squirming on the floor. It was enough to take a cow down but Robert was still standing, sweat dripped down Aaron’s forehead, he dropped the stun gun and ran for the door. "Hey, don’t leave!" Robert shouted, and in flash was blocking the door before Aaron could even grab the handle. He had the stun gun in his hand and twirled it around, “This looks like fun! Shall we play?”   Robert kicked Aaron’s leg and he fell to the ground. He smiled at Aaron, “Don’t you like playing with women? I will give you something that will send you over the edge!”   He knelt next to Aaron and put the stun gun close to his d**k, then pulled the trigger. Aaron howled for a moment and then passed out from the pain.   "Let's get out of here!" Robert dropped the gun and took Abby’s hand.   "Abby, I have an idea. Why don’t you leave with me, and we will transfer to Staten Island Academy?” Robert asked as they walked down the hall.   To his surprise, Abby didn’t answer him about transferring to another school but she had a question of her own, “Who is Meenas?”   “Well...” Robert didn’t know what to say, he had forgotten all about her. He was trying to figure out how to explain to Abby without telling her he had to buy Meenas from the auction in order to fulfill the system task.   "How about we deal with things slowly? One thing at a time?” Robert tried to change the subject.   "Who is Meenas?" Abby asked again. Seeing that Robert wasn’t going to answer, she then asked, “Where is she now?”   Robert lowered his head in shame. He had no idea how to explain anything to Abby, even though nothing happened between him and Meenas, she probably wouldn’t believe him.     "Forget it!" Abby said then took out her phone, “Hey! I need to find a woman. Her name is Meenas, she was involved in that auction a few days ago. I am assuming she is around eighteen or nineteen.”   Listening to Abby on the phone, Robert never thought that she would go that far to find out who Meenas was. He was shocked that she would use her people to get information about him.   It was the worst time, but Robert heard the system chime,   “Congratulations, my host! You requested the Ghost-searching Rune to locate a ghost and the ghost has been found. Address: No.1 Clubhouse, at the corner of Lake Street and Temple Road, New York”
