Grant took a knife from his pocket, opened it and began cutting the duct tape that had her wrists and ankles bound. Once Mary was freed she pulled the tape from her mouth then hugged him tight. “Thank god you’re alive.” Grant let out a sigh of relief as he hugged her back. Feeling her safe and sound in his arms was something he would never forget. “I didn’t think I would be.” Mary cried. “They threatened to kill me over and over again.” “Let’s get you out of here and to a hospital.” He insisted. “After that, you can tell the police what happened.” “No!” Mary belted. Grant helped a weakened Mary out of the dumpster, he held her close as he helped her down the alley and towards his vehicle.
