THIRTEEN

"Babe, we should go," Eden stroked my back. We had spent the whole night here, watching the sunrise, kissing, just enjoying each others company, and I must say, I could not get enough of it. I only wanted more and more. It was so comfortable, beautiful and Eden was here, so I had all I wanted, the thought of leaving not even crossing my mind. The only reason for leaving being the sand that had gotten everywhere, my hair, my underwear, you call - it was there. "I don't want to go," I pouted. But my stomach disagreed, growling loudly. Eden laughed: "that's our cue to leave." She was trying to get up, but I quickly straddled her legs, locking them beneath me. I smirked, pushing her down, and moving her shirt up, kissing her lower stomach: "maybe I'm hungry for something else." I didn't know what I was doing, really, I had no experience with girls, or even guys when it came to this kind of stuff. Yet my body seemed to have a mind of its own, dying to pleasure her, and so far, everything I did seemed to leave an effect on her. She closed her eyes for a second, tensing underneath me. But it was soon gone, when she tricked me into kissing her so that my legs around hers relaxed and she was able to get up. She got up, smiling at me, while I was stubbornly refused to do so, my hands crossed on my chest. She held out a hand for me, and no matter how stubborn I was about getting what I wanted, I still couldn't help but give her my hand, I was completely and utterly whipped, what more can I say. We tried to shake off the sand and walked to her motorcycle, which was an absolute piece of art and elegance, a perfect match for Eden. "Hop on, gorgeous," Eden said, already on the bike. I obeyed, getting as close to Eden as I could, feeling her body tense underneath my fingers. "You better feed me when we're home," I whispered in her ear, her remaining silent. As I put on my helmet, I grinned in the victory of making THE Eden Harper flustered, putting my arms around her, signaling her that we could leave now. She didn't waste a second, as we flew through forests, cities, tunnels. We rode for about 40 minutes, and I enjoyed every single bit of it. It made you feel carefree, emptied your mind. It made the world silent, if only for a little bit. As we drove in her driveway, I saw Henry slightly turn his head, still standing next to my houses doors with the other bodyguard I didn't know. Did they ever sleep? Or eat? We parked in Edens garage, and after I handed her my helmet, I gave her a peck. "I'll be back in a second, don't wait up," I said, walking out of the garage. I made my way towards my house, waving at Henry, he smiled and nodded in response. "Hey, Hen, my parents up?" I asked. "What do you have your phone for? It's 7 am, they are probably cuddling in bed and enjoying the "vacation", miss Gold," Henry guessed, rolling his eyes. "Do you know how long they're staying?" I questioned, a bit scared they would leave any second. Henry shifted uncomfortably and I squinted my eyes at him. "You'll have to ask them that, Miss Gold," he said, his tone leaving no place for "buts". "Tell them I'll be at our neighbor's house, so they can just call me when they're up." Henry let out a theatrical shocked gasp: "you've spent the whole night with her, but still didn't can't get enough. Miss Gold, are you by any chance in love?" I rolled my eyes, smiling. "Adios, Hen," I walked away. Was I thought? I'd never felt this way before, but I think the l-word was way too fast. I had only just let her in. I didn't even bother knocking and walked Edens house, still smiling, instantly making my way towards the kitchen, knowing she had to be there: "you won't believe what Henry said.." As I walked in the kitchen, I found Eden with an expression far from please, staring at a guy who's back was turned on me. She looked at me, her expression changing to panicked for a second as she stared between me and the guy. But it was soon replaced by her stunning smile. "Hey, gorgeous," she said, looking at me breathlessly. I grinned awkwardly, knowing I had interrupted something: "hey." The guy cleared his throat, turning around as he smiled at me. I tried to control my expression, the grin not leaving my face. "You must be the girl my sister can't stop talking about," he smiled, his features nearly the same as Edens, "Ruby, right?" And you must be the guy I have been stalking for the past few days, I wanted to reply. He held out his hand, which I gladly took, squeezing it lightly. "Yes, that would be me. And you're the infamous older brother, right?" my smile still didn't falter and I had to praise myself for my actions, feeling Eden's eyes burn holes in my skin. I had to give it to Blake, he was pretty good at acting too: "I guess that's me, I'm Blake, by the way." "Nice to meet you," I smiled. "The pleasure is all mine, Ruby," he said, but if I looked in his eyes long enough, I could see that he was hiding a lot. This guy knew me. More importantly, he knew something I didn't, which I was yet to find out. I let go of his hand, turning to Eden, her eyes analyzing us. I looked at her, confused. Yes, I was kept in the dark, but I had no intention of staying there. "Anyways, I'll get going now," Blake said, looking at Eden, then at me, "tell mom I'll come over soon." Then he went to Eden, hugging her, and probably no one would ever notice, but I could tell he quickly whispered something in Eden's ear. He quickly smiled at me, grabbing his keys: "it was nice to meet my little sister's girlfriend, hopefully, we meet soon again." I nodded, smiling, knowing everything that came out of this guys mouth was faker than the lips of the majority of girls in my school. Eden had been quiet the whole time he was here, which was so not like her. He was her brother, yet she acted far from natural, he had to be more than a brother, more than just a gang member to make her seem so tense, leading me to the conclusion that he must've been the actual gang leader. It wasn't that hard to figure out really, considering Blake was far gone by now, yet Eden still seemed to be out of it. I walked to her, wrapping my arms around her waist, lifting her chin so that she was looking at me. "What's wrong, beautiful?" I softly asked. Her expression quickly changed back to the normal one: "nothing, let me cook something for you." I knew she was lying and it crushed me because this girl was slowly becoming my everything, even if I was yet to admit it. I wanted to be able to be everything to her too, be the shoulder to lean on and all that jazz. But I wasn't, and I needed to know why. I had a feeling it was because of the gang she was a part of. That moment, when I looked at my gorgeous girlfriend cooking, I decided I would find out what was going on. I would be my private investigator and find out everything about this gang. Because I needed to protect what was dear to me and to protect her, I had to know everything there was to know. I would even go as far as spying on the worlds most dangerous gang to protect the one that matters to me and find out a way out for both of us. Be careful what you wish for, my subconsciousness told me. But I ignored it, again, because I was too lost in the girl in front of me, willing to ignore all of the lumps in the throat, all red flags and my consciousness only for the fuzzy feeling I got when it was good. So far it was mostly good, so it was rather easy. I smiled, taking quiet steps towards her and hugging her from behind, kissing her neck. She sighed, soft laughter leaving her lips. That was the sound I wanted to hear for the rest of my life. That was the sound because of which I was willing to put my life at risk, unaware of the fact it already was.
