RED’S POV.
The forest was beautiful. Much more green and full of life that I had ever imagined, it was almost painfully beautiful.
I had never really gotten around nature walks back in Seattle so everything I was experiencing right now was a big deal for me being this was my first time in a real forest and fully around Mother Nature.
Edith walked ahead of me, collecting different plants and herbs along the way and taking it upon herself in explaining what each one was used for.
“This one helps with fever.” She continued, holding up a small green plant with three tiny leaves.
“And this one is used for wounds.”
I nodded, trying my best to memorize each but my mind wasn’t really listening.
