I wake up cuddled against Gio's hairy chest.
"Good morning, baby." He smiles at me.
I nuzzle my nose further into his chest and hum.
Flopping him on his back, I crawl overtop of him, spreading my legs wide.
I sigh contently, and he gives a throaty laugh.
"This is the last day of mourning before we have to train under the supreme
elites."
I nod.
"We could... 'mourn' all day," I tease.
He smiles and I turn serious for a minute.
"What will they do about Brycin's spot?"
Gio turns serious too now, though his eyes remain soft.
"Pavo approached me about that yesterday. I'll be taking his place."
I nod with a small grin.
I'm happy we can work together now. Train together, but Brycin was estatic
