"I'm glad you called," Lucas says with his whiter than white smile.
"I'm glad you came." I mean it too. With everything that's happened in the
course of a single week, I could use some time to relax with someone who
doesn't have any expectations on me.
"So," he says dropping next to me on my couch. "I brought The fifty shades
series and the Little mermaid series."
I smile at the contradiction.
"Could you have picked two more different series?"
Lucas shakes his head and smirks.
"Nope. This is gonna give me a feel of how well we'll get along. Pick one."
I roll my eyes. It's not that I don't like the little mermaid, but... Fifty shades is
just better.
"Fifty shades of grey."
Lucas smiles and puts a hand on his heart.
"You've surprised me Belle."
I blink blankly a few times
