We arrived at the university campus, Becca by my side and Aamon's haunting presence close behind. My fingers instinctively gathered a handful of necessary items for my stay at Aamon's, with Becca offering a comforting yet heart-wrenching goodbye. Roughly ten minutes later, we left the familiar warmth of the university campus. Aamon and I headed back to his place, north of the city, both silent, lost in our thoughts. His apartment building looms in front of us as we pull up. The familiar valet appears, and I hand over my car keys, just as Aamon does.
