I wake up in the middle of the night, the apartment dark and silent. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I groan at the dull pain in my back. I've been sleeping on the couch, and the discomfort is a harsh reminder of the hours spent in an awkward position. As I fight to wake up fully, I overhear Aamon and Meredith talking in hushed tones.
