Chapter 10: Principal

286 Words
Gloria finds herself facing the doors of the principal’s office, yet again. Except, this time, she’s alone. Carefully walking in, she moves towards the principal's desk. She notices a blue paper on the desk, realising it’s the recipe to the blue drink. Before she gets to snatch it, the door slowly creaks open. Gloria immediately hides under the desk. Through a tiny circular hole on the desk, she peeks through, noticing it's the principal. She watches as the principal walks towards the desk, secretly praying she doesn’t sit. Her prayers are answered after the principal simply takes the blue paper, “Yes the blue drink’s recipe is 250 ML of sparkling water, 1 strand of unicorn hair, 4 drops of witch’s sweat, 8 drops of mermaid blood, and 1 tablespoon of blue siren’s ashes.” The principal tells someone through the phone as she puts the call on speaker. “Why are you manipulating and poisoning your own students?! That isn’t what a principal should do.” a silvery voice says through the phone. “Oh darling, what’s the point of the male gender? They suck. They’re awful. Women are better by 100 times” a honeyed voice speaks again, which is the principal. “But you’re teaching them that that is true feminism. It isn't! It's media feminism, fake feminism!” the soft voice speaks. “You are an evil-” the voice continues, but is cut off by the principal. After that suspicious call, the principal left the office. “Who was that?” Gloria thinks in her head while swiping the paper off the desk. “Whatever, at least we know we need a tablespoon of the siren's ashes!” she thinks again.
