Chapter 8: Awake

After the three girls agreed on going to the kitchen to get the ingredients at midnight, they continued a normal day at the awful school. Ever since the principal informed Gloria, Diana, and April that she knows what they are up to, the trio has become even more cautious than they were before. After arguments with teachers and conversations with friends, it was finally time. The moment the alarm rang, April’s eyes blinked open. She was quite a light sleeper, but she couldn't say the same about her friends. She took notice of the deep sleeps her friends were in, making it her responsibility to wake them up. “WAKE UP!” April yelled, swiping the blankets off their bodies. When that doesn't work, she shakes their bodies till her best friends wake up. “Ughhhhh what time is itttt?” Diana whines, trying to open her eyes. “IT’S MIDNIGHT! WE HAVE TO GO!” April whisper-shouts. “Okay, okay chill,” Diana said, sitting up. Realising Gloria is still practically dead, April rolls her eyes, screaming at her to wake up, “GLORIA SANDOVAL!” “I’m up! I’m up!” Gloria groans. “Finally. Let’s go.”
