With confident strides and her long legs framed by five-centimeter high heels, she looked strikingly elegant that night. Raellyn never thought she’d go to such lengths, but every woman has her own way of making an ex regret ever letting her go, and this was hers. The night was cold and breathless, like the silence between two people who used to be in love. Her heels clacked sharply against the pavement as she made her way to the car. A sleek black vehicle gifted by Arnav not long after their marriage, back when things were still civil, if not loving. She hesitated for a brief moment.
