Laney's POV

I nodded my head and took his hand again and squeezed him. Looking at his father and watching everyone come in and join us for breakfast. Damien made my plate. One of the omega’s made poured me a glass of juice, she smiled at me and made me feel good. Damien squeezed my leg, and I looked over. He was smiling, Alpha Michael coughed and both Damien and I looked over and noticed how upset he looks. “What is going on here, why is she sitting at the table, and not serving..” before Alpha Michael could finish, Damien chimed in “Dad there is something that I need to tell you, Laney is my mate.” Gasps were heard all over the dining room. “That is unacceptable, you will reject her now, we will not have a human as a Luna.” I felt broken and noticed that Damien was fuming. “I don’t care what you say, I will not reject Laney. She will be the next Luna. I will be Alpha in a few months. By law you will be stepping down. Please, dad, just get to know Laney. She is the best, kindest, and warm-hearted woman I have ever met. She has never complained about anything, everything that you have thrown at her with ridiculous chores and nearly sending her away because her wolf is dormant.”

“Damien, you don’t know that I don’t know that.” I don’t feel like I have a wolf, I never shifted what does he mean by that. Can he sense a wolf in me. I am not sure. “You don’t know Damien, I understand she is your mate and we have taught you to trust the mate bond, but think about the pack, how can she protect the pack from intruders or rogues and you are away. What then?” Said Luna Angie. Both of Damien’s parents just look at each other and hold each other’s hands on the table. With sympathetic looks from both Damien growled and said “I know what my mate can do. I have seen her potential and I can’t wait to see what more she can bring. She can be trained.

Now, if you don’t mind, I am taking my mate to her new home and I will get her situated. Let’s go Laney” I didn’t know what to do except just stare in awe at him, I followed him out of the dining room. He starts heading up the stairs, “Where are we going?” “We are going up to get your things, then we are heading out to the cottage.” “Oh” We continue up the stairs which is about 6 flights of stairs, and we reach my door. “Please stay out here, I will get my things it will just be a moment.” “Okay.” I go in and see that my little area is bare, I really don’t have much to take and it is so embarrassing. I grab my photo of my parents and a plastic bag that has a few of my clothes that I have taken from trash and as I head out, I turn around and sigh, ‘thank you moon goddess for lifting up my spirits.’

We are walking out of the packhouse to the back side of the property to a beautiful cottage that is surrounded by trees and next to a pond. It looks like one of those vintage European cottages, so elegant. Entering the cottage, the first thing I noticed is the smell. It smells like pine and wood. It smells like Damien, and I love it. Damien grabs my elbow and puts his hand on my back and the other under my knees and carries me in bridal style along the threshold and I smile and kiss him. He smiles through the kiss and walks straight down the hall and into what I guess will be our bedroom and gently places me on the bed. He backs away enough to remove his shirt, then returns to my lips. He gently lays half on me and half on the side of me.

His hands are roaming all over my body gently exploring, sparks are roaming all over. It feels so good. I feel something foreign between my legs. I don’t know what this means, but I don’t want it to end. Damien moves from my lips to my jaw down to my neck, straight to my marking spot, he begins to suck on it and sparks run through all the way down to my core. I let out a soft moan. Damien stops and smiles while looking at me, “you are beautiful and I can’t wait to mark and mate you.” I don’t know what to do or say. I never thought that I would find a mate and this is scaring me.

‘What if I am not good enough, what if he leaves me after?’ “Hey, it’s okay, love, we can wait till you are ready, I promise you I will never leave you, you are my mate.” “I want to, please Damien make me yours.” It didn’t take him long to remove my clothes and his pants. He gently kissed my lips then moved to my neck, to my marking spot. Sucked on it for a bit, then moved down to my breast and sucked, I moaned and couldn’t hold back.

Damien started to go further down and I freaked out a bit, “It’s okay love, I am here to make you feel good.” He went down on me and started sucking on my core, it was so amazing I let out a scream when something in my stomach just needed to be released. And so, I did, and it felt amazing. Damien lifts his head and smiles and says, “now I am going to claim you fully.” I smile, he then kisses me and he is fully naked and his manhood finds my entrance. He slowly inserts and I feel a sharp sting.

I gasp, Damien freezes and looks at me. “Relax love, this part will hurt, but I promise you after you will feel the best pleasures.” I nod my head and he kisses me and he feels how relaxed I am being, so he continues. I moan in the kiss and once he is fully in, stays still for a bit and doesn’t move. I am starting to feel comfortable to the point where I move my hips a bit and Damien smirks and says “okay love”.

He moves at the perfect pace. I can feel my body, my mind and my heart wanting so much more. I moan louder as Damien picks up the pace. I am so close to release and I think Damien knows, he starts to move faster and faster and I scream with release as he continues. He then starts to kiss me and moves down to my jaw, then my neck and straight to my soft spot. I continue to feel another release coming and before I can, I feel a sharp pain that soon turns into the most intense pleasure of my life. I screamed and moaned”Oh Damien”. I see the stars and then Damien releases as well. “Oh baby, Laney.” We both finished and I feel Damien lick my neck where he bit into, I all of a sudden feel this intense pressure and I soon passed out.
