As the Council walks in, I notice my parents getting up and moving towards them. I stay back for a second. Once I receive a mind link from Dean that Laney is in the cottage safe I head over to the council and my parents.
"Good Afternoon, we weren't expecting you all till later in the week." Said my mother.
"That was the plan but with the rogues attacking and out of their territory we thought it would be best to come as soon as we can." Said a Council member, her name is Mary. She is one of the oldest council members.
We all nod, then my mother asked them all if they had eaten. That was when I took my leave to head over to the cottage and to check on Laney.
