Damien was a little surprised as he just witnessed his mate confront Alpha Michael, "Dad, you have to understand she has been through so much. Give her time." Damien pleaded with his father in hopes that he doesn't do anything to make Damien put his mate before anything.

Alpha Michael wasn't fazed at all on what happened. He just stood there with his mate Luna Angie on his arm. "Son, I understand. I am not upset with her. I will give her time." Alpha Michael smiled down at his mate then at Damien his son and walked calmly out the door.

It was a shock for Damien and even Luna Angie. "Son, you father has always wanted whats best for you, he cherishes you." Luna Angie said so meaningfully. "Thank you mom." Said Damien.

Laney's

'Oh my goodness, Nia, What have I done?' I was freaking out and I need Nia's help. 'Calm down Laney, it will be okay.' Nia trying to calm me down. Breath, just breath. I tell myself over and over. My heart pounding in my chest. 'Laney, please.' Said Nia. I started to calm myself down, 'thank you Nia, what do I do to fix this. I never hold grudges, I let things go cause I know that there is something better out there.' Nia calmly just said, 'apologize when you are ready. Trust me you did the right thing, you showed them you are a true Luna.' I started to tear up again. I then stood up and went to the bathroom and without looking in the mirror, I turned the water on and washed my face. I then looked in the mirror and fixed myself. Went out of the bedroom back in to the dining room. I noticed that Alpha Michael was not there but Luna Angie and Damien were still there sitting at the dining table, drinking a cup of coffee, and what I am assuming is waiting for me to come back out. I walked up to Damien and touched his shoulder, which was still bare. "Luna Angie, I want to formally apologize to you of my behavior. I should not have lost control and I sincerely apologize for that." I looked straight into her eyes and just apologized. "Oh honey, you did nothing wrong. Alpha Michael needed to hear that." She grabbed my hand and brought me into a hug that I just squeezed her and welcomed her. "Where is he, can I apologize to him?" I needed to apologize for my behavior, it's for me and no one else. "How about at dinner, join us for dinner tonight. Let the Omega's make dinner for the pack house and you and I make dinner for just the four of us." She said with a smile. "Okay, I will do that. I will head down to the kitchen and get them set up. Thank you."

I then looked at Damien and smiled, I bent to kiss his lips but before I did I said "Please, babe. Put on a shirt, I may just have my wolf but she does get jealous and I won't make any promises on any wondering eyes." I then kissed his lips walked out of the cottage and headed straight into the pack-house kitchen.

I step into the kitchen and no one was there, I was expecting someone, like Sara, or Cami, or even the head Omega Margie. But there was no-one. So instead I prepped everything for dinner and then started writing instruction. I then hear footsteps coming in and as I turn I get a huge tight hug from Cami and Sara, and a small smile from Laura which is okay because she is very shy.

Sara and Cami are very young. They are both 16 and still in high school. Laura just turned 20, she should find her mate any day now, although she is very shy. I just hope that her mate is kind and gentle.

Cami grabbed my hand and smiled and said "Oh Laney, how are you feeling, you ready for your first shift tomorrow? Oh my how is Damien in bed?" She started laughing and I just smiled at her, and said "Cami, I feel nervous but with Damien being there it eases the tension. Also, do not ask that again." I laughed and hugged her. Cami was so sweet, Nia didn't sound jealous which is good.

"Okay girls, I have written down the instructions for dinner tonight, and have prepped everything. Laura, you are in charge of making sure everything is completed tonight. I will also talk to Alpha Michael about switching you Laura to sous chef. I really need your help in the kitchen when I am not able to be there like tonight." Seeing Laura's face light up, I knew that she was okay with that. "Alright ladies, I have to go and get ready and I will see you in the morning." All three girls in unison "bye Laney."

I head back to the Cottage to shower and change into a nice light blue dress that goes up to my mid thighs and has a matching sweater, added some black flats that Damien had gotten for me. Damien had a whole new wardrobe, and shoes. I missed new clothes and I missed wearing cute dresses. I comb my light brown hair and braid it to the side and add a cute thick light blue headband. I then add a little lip gloss and some mascara that will bring out my green eyes and I head out. I head up to the packhouse and up to the 4th floor where the Alphas suite is located. Before I could knock on the door, Luna Angie opened the door and smiled and grabbed me in for a big hug. Then said, "Hey sweetheart, come on in." I stepped in and started heading towards the kitchen in the suite. Once I arrived in the kitchen I notice that there was some chicken breast set out and I remembered that I did a bit of shopping the other day, so I know what to make. Luna Angie commented behind me as she grabbed a bottle of wine and some glasses. "Laney, you look so beautiful." I turned and smiled at her and said "Thank you Luna Angie, so do you." She always does, so elegant with a powder pink baby-doll style top and a knee length pencil skirt and flats. I don't think I have ever seen her in heels. She is always so professional and classy. I love her style in clothes as a Luna.

"You look beautiful as well." I told her, she smiled and poured me a glass of wine and handed it to me then poured one for herself. Being a werewolf we can't get drunk, but we still like the taste.

I take a sip and set the glass on the counter and put the apron that was hanging on a hook on the side of the fridge. I then started rinsing off the chicken and prepped everything for a Chicken Parmesan. The front door opened and I smelled the most magnificent scent, Pine and Wood. I turn and see Damien with a polo white shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans and grey loafers. So sexy, Nia howled in my mind, 'will you stop, we already have him.' I told Nia, and she calmed down a bit. Damien comes up to me and kisses my lips then down to my mark.

With all of my attention towards Damien, I didn't realize that Alpha Michael came in as well
