Chapter 7 : Let's Go!

Issac finally decided to do something very reckless this time, he couldn't stand his anxiety over Adeline's current state. Issac also planned to kidnap Adeline, he would sneak into Anthony's basement, because he had received information that Anthony had previously brought Adeline there to be punished.

Even though Issac knew that he was about to do, would bring trouble to Steven's Pack, but he would still do it. Issac had also told Steven about his plan and it was with a heavy heart that his friend let him do what he wanted.

After confirming his business with Steven, Issac immediately carried out his plan. By this time it was late at night, around eleven o'clock in the evening and only Anthony's patrol team was left on night watch in the pack. Issac had been observing how they worked, he immediately sneaked into the area in the pack when he had the chance.

"Really, the guard in here is very inefficient, I can easily sneak in like this," muttered Issac while shaking his head sadly with the guard that was there. Issac stepped back again to look for the basement floor, the place where Adeline was being caged.

Because Issac didn't have much time to explore all the areas in this pack, he decided to use a cunning method, namely by taking advantage of his Mate's bond with Adeline. Slowly Issac sharpened his sense of smell and looked for Adeline's signature scent, finally requiring very high concentration, Issac also found a faint trail of Adeline's scent, he immediately followed the trail to a door that looked very gloomy.

"Damn you, Anthony! How dare he bring his own daughter into such a scary place." Issac's anger immediately soared when he saw it for himself where Anthony locked Adeline at this time. Without wasting more time, Issac immediately entered the underground room and continued to follow the trail of Adeline's scent that was getting thinner.

Issac's steps led to a locked room, he could smell Adeline strongly from inside the room, he was sure that his mate was in the room, but unfortunately the room was locked with many layers. Of course, Issac wasn't going to give up so easily, not when he was so close to freeing his beloved mate.

An annoyed growl slipped from Issac's lips, he exerted his Wolf power to destroy the chain of keys that belonged to the room, in one strike from his hand, the keys were immediately shattered. Without needing a long time, Issac immediately kicked the door to pieces and he immediately looked around him, trying to find Adeline's whereabouts.

"Adeline!" Issac's voice almost choked when he found that Adeline was lying helplessly on the cold floor of the room, there were lots of bloodstains all over her body. It seemed that the wounds that Adeline had received had been long enough because Issac found that the wounds had begun to dry up, thanks to the regeneration possessed by the Werewolf race, but it seemed that because the wounds were too many, it would take a long time for all the wounds she had will received the heal.

Without thinking, Issac immediately embraced Adeline's helpless body into his arms. With careful movements, Issac carried Adeline's body and slowly stepped out of the basement room. Issac couldn't imagine what Anthony had done to Adeline so far, he couldn't accept that his mate had been hurt like this.

To stop the pain that Adeline had been enduring all this time, Issac immediately took action to kidnap Adeline and bring his mate back to his own pack. And at the same night, Issac directly took Adeline to his pack, which was on the sacred Mount Astromono.

However, Issac's journey to get out of the Moon Blast pack was because for some reason suddenly the guard inside the pack became very tight like never before when Issac sneaked in to find the dungeon. "Damn it! What the hell is going on, why are they being so defensive like this," muttered Issac while frowning confused by what happened.

Just in case, Issac finally decided to hide first around the entrance to the dungeon. Then, Issac decided to use his mind-link to Steven to find out what really happened in the Moon Blast pack.

"Steven! Why is this damn pack in such a mess?! Did something happen when I was gone?" asked Issac in his mind-link with Steven. In order to get out of the Moon Blast pack safely, Issac must know what is really going on at this time, otherwise he might accidentally fall into his enemy's trap and waste what he is currently doing.

For a while, Issac didn't hear a reply from Steven, he didn't know if something had happened to his best friend or what. Luckily ten minutes later after a silence, Issac got a reply from Steven.

"Because I didn't want to bear the trouble you caused, so I caused a scene by pulling my party back tonight. So the Moon Blast pack went awry to send my party to home. I've already made a diversion for you, you better go now!" Steven, who seemed to be getting ready to leave the Moon Blast pack, immediately told Issac to leave the pack as well.

"Tch! If I had known that, then I wouldn't have hesitated to leave." Issac rolled his eyes lazily as he realized that all of this was Steven's doing. Issac immediately got up from hiding, he with Adeline's body in his arms, immediately used his wolf powers to quickly escape from the Moon Blast pack area, fortunately Issac had prepared a route to escape this.

Issac hoped that tonight they could arrive at his pack without encountering any problems. No matter how strong Issac is, he will definitely find it difficult if he has to fight with Adeline in his arms like now. It wasn't that Issac was afraid of getting hurt, he was even afraid that he might hurt Adeline later, so he hoped that they would be safe tonight.

That long night Issac spent crossing the border between the other packs to return as soon as possible to his pack which is secluded in the mountains and it is considered scary for most packs because they know there is a pack that is famous for its incomparable power.
