Chapter 6 : The Anger

The figure of Anthony who was very angry from the direction of the door that was kicked was seen. Suddenly, Adeline and Issac were very surprised, even Issac immediately stood up straight in front of the bed that Adeline used to protect his Mate.

“What are you doing here Alpha Anthony? Don't you know how to be polite in your pack's guest room," Issac said coldly to Anthony.

Issac really didn't understand Anthony's way of thinking, what else made this Alpha Moon Blast pack so angry when it came to him. Issac glanced at Adeline who was behind his back, cowering in fear at the sight of Anthony's figure.

But, honestly, what does Anthony care if Issac approaches Adeline? Wasn't that Alpha acting rudely as if she didn't want Adeline? Shouldn't Anthony be happy because Issac tried to carry the hatred that lingered in Anthony's heart?

“How dare you still ask why I came here? Get out of my way, I won't let you near that trash!” Anthony rushed to Adeline who was behind Issac's body. Anthony deliberately pushed Issac so hard that the man almost fell down.

Issac clenched his fists to reply to what Anthony did to him and also how dare the man keep him away from his mate. However, Issac's attempt was held back by Steven, who already knew his friend's hot temper.

"I know you're angry, but hold on. Remember we are in someone else's pack," whispered Steven, who returned to Issac's room because he heard the noise made by Anthony.

As much as possible Issac held back his emotions and tried to calm himself down. Even so, Issac stared intently at Anthony, who was currently yelling at Adeline harshly.

“Didn't I tell you not to show yourself in front of our pack's invited guests! Can't you understand what I'm saying! This damn b***h always bothers me.” Anthony, who was already furious with Adeline's behavior, grabbed the girl's hair tightly, causing Adeline's head to look up forcefully.

Really, what Anthony did made Issac furious, how could he possibly stand it when his Mate was being tortured like that in front of his eyes.

Anthony took Adeline to the basement before, he intended to punish Adeline harshly so that the girl would understand the consequences of disobeying her orders.

“What's your excuse this time?" asked Anthony without looking at Adeline who was still slumped on the cold dusty floor. Anthony picked up a mix that was on a nearby table, ready to whip Adeline.

Not wanting to make Anthony even angrier, Adeline immediately got up and sat cross-legged in front of Anthony, “I'm sorry, Alpha. I don't know how I got to the guest house, when I woke up I was already there with bodyguard Alpha Steven." Adeline dared not lie and tell Anthony whatever she knew.

You can see Anthony grinning while stroking the whip in his hand when he heard Adeline's explanation, how could he believe what Adeline said?

“If you want to lie to me, use a better excuse. How could I believe what you said," said Anthony, not believing what Adeline said.

Anthony started to rise from his position and slowly walked towards Adeline who was kneeling on the cold floor. Anthony lifted Adeline's chin to meet his eyes, "This time I have to punish you." Anthony said those words in a low voice.
