CHAPTER 12: Day 5

Today, I took the day to take care of things at the hospital. There were many documents to be signed, and Hanna's mother might be transferred this week, even though she hasn't agreed to anything, I'm sure she will. I barely had time to visit the other companies before realizing it was already late, so I decided to call it a day and head home. I'm exhausted, but luckily the hospital wasn't too far from home. As soon as I arrived, I saw Lucia picking up glass shards, and she seemed tense. I had never seen Lucia so tense.
Gabriel: Did something happen here, Lucia? – I asked, approaching her and startling her
Lucia: Oh, you startled me, boy. – she dropped what she had just gathered and put her hand on her chest. I couldn't help but laugh- You wouldn't believe it,
