They had been travelling for months, it seemed. Time no longer had any meaning for Einion and Briana.
The brother and sister had set out from Ynis Wytrin long before, their path taking them farther and farther away from the vengeance they sought in Dumnonia, in the southwest of Britannia. There had in fact been times when they considered turning back, no matter what the druid had said.
"What care do I have for the Boar of the Selgovae and the wishes of Weylyn's dead son?" Einion said one night from the other side of the fire where they camped in a midland forest.
"We've sworn to do this, Brother." Briana insisted. She felt the right of what they were doing more than her brother, whose heart was weighed down more by the pressures of revenge.
