Lucius nodded and looked to Briana. “You trust them?” He had come to value her judgement in all things, her ability to read people, and their intentions, something so uncanny that he believed the Gods had a hand in it.
“They’re the darlings of the village, though they don’t act like it. They work hard and long, and they don’t ask for much.”
Lucius turned to Adara. “Well, if you’re happy with them, I shall be,” he said.
