The Caledonii attacked, and Lucius spun and stabbed. His blade found flesh, then bone. Then he pulled another warrior into a tree and the man fell with a crushed skull. The other three came with cudgels and daggers, but Lucius, ignoring the pain they inflicted on him, found the death he wanted to deal.
