“Gardens clear.” The voices of the guys down there got quiet after a while. They were finally doing their job, while we were looking at a wider area around us. “Clear air.” Basil calmed down as he started making more reports without letting unnecessary words out of his mouth. “Clear,” I added after him. This was getting boring, just saying clear every ten to fifteen minutes, reporting the situation to everyone on duty tonight. I yawned and took a break from staring into the scope.
