I peeked out from my hideout to see if she was still there. The air seemed clean, so I quickly snuck out of the gym and walked away as fast as I could. There were only two possibilities now. She was either really here, or I was hallucinating. But given my current mental state, it had to be the former. I wasn’t anywhere near exhaustion nor did I have any alcohol. I wasn’t imagining things, I wasn’t hallucinating. “Isaac?” He picked up the phone sooner than I had thought he would. He was probably not too busy to pick up my phone after only one ring. “Alth, what is it?” He sounded a bit worried, but I could hear a lot of background noise going on his side. “Busy?” I asked, hoping he would say he had all the time in the world I needed. “A bit. If you need anything, just drop by my office.”
