The night breeze outside the auditorium was cool, dispersing the lingering tension in the air. Everything had returned to calm, a serene quiet settling over the scene. The students had long since left, leaving only a few teachers gathered nearby, discussing the public lecture in hushed tones. Robert strode over, his forehead still glistening with sweat. He looked weary but still made a point to stand tall. He stopped in front of Cassandra, extending his hand with a solemn tone, "Ms. Quinn, this public lecture's success is all thanks to you. Thank you for delivering such an exceptional class." Cassandra smiled faintly, exchanging a shared look of understanding with Robert that only the two of them grasped. She knew his use of the word "exceptional" wasn't just about the lecture itself.
