Faith was taken aback by Willis' sudden entrance.
She quickly urged Nathan to hide, and he begrudgingly slipped behind the curtains.
As the door opened, Faith busied herself with the window, making the curtains sway as if stirred by a breeze.
Willis scanned the room before smiling at Faith. "Ms. Moore, what are you doing here?" he inquired.
Peering behind him and seeing no one else, Faith asked, "Where's Noah?"
"He's outside, greeting the guests," Willis informed her.
"But didn't he say he was coming here to rest?" Faith's annoyance was evident, feeling tricked.
Willis explained, "Mr. Evans called, feeling tired, so I told him about this available room."
Faith was dumbfounded.
