Chapter 30 – Showdown
Olav opened the door to the maximum security wing and took a step. He stopped when he saw three men coming towards him.
He recognized Cole and Zack immediately. After a moment, he recognized Dale Kinmont, too, from their fight in the corridor earlier. Olav felt a brief moment of smug satisfaction. He had correctly guessed Cole's destination. And now he would capture the Kinmont boy single-handedly. Mr. Leland would be so proud.
Olav reached for his pistol.

The scar-faced man who had opened the door snapped his holster's thumb-break and closed his fingers around his gun.
