He submerged himself, felt the water flow over his skin. He brought his face close to the wound and remembered the lessons Dr. Anthony had given him. It was easier in the water, easier when he could see the wound. His fingers brushed over the skin, washing away the dirt and sand, urging healing into the bruised tissue.
