CHAPTER 7: Timeless Love

On a small street of a peaceful town in the American countryside, where the breeze gently blows through the green trees, there is a used book store modestly located on the corner of the street. This store is where Lucy often visits every afternoon after work. As a young girl who loves literature, Lucy always finds comfort and joy in old books.

One day, while intently searching for a rare book in the darkest corner of the store, Lucy accidentally encountered a young man. He has flowing brown hair and eyes as deep blue as the summer sky. The two stood still for a moment, surprised by each other's sudden appearance.

"Sorry, I didn't know anyone was here," Lucy said confused.

"It's okay, I don't think this place has many visitors either," the boy replied with a smile.

They quickly got to know each other. The guy's name is Michael, a young writer looking for new inspiration for his novel. Their conversation lasted for hours, ranging from their favorite books to their dreams and ambitions in life. The fire of love begins to rekindle from the first glances.

Since that meeting, Lucy and Michael gradually became closer. They often meet at a small cafe by the lake, where the sunset creates a romantic scene. Together they share peaceful moments, funny stories and unfulfilled dreams.

Lucy feels like she has found a soul mate, someone who understands her better than anyone else. Michael, with his writing talent and colorful outlook on life, opened up a new world for her, where everything becomes more beautiful and worth living.

One afternoon, when the two of them were sitting on the lawn watching the sunset, Michael gently held Lucy's hand and said: "Lucy, do you believe in timeless love? A love that no matter how many times we go through." despite many challenges and difficulties, it remains steadfast and never fades away?

Lucy looked into his eyes, filled with excitement. "I'm not sure," she replied, "but I believe in the feeling I'm having right now."

As time passed, their love became deeper and deeper. But life is not always peaceful. Michael received a great opportunity to develop his career: a book contract with a prestigious publisher in New York. This means he has to leave the small town and Lucy.

This decision put both of them in an awkward position. Lucy didn't want to become an obstacle in Michael's career, but the thought of being away from him made her heart clench. Michael was equally miserable, because he didn't want to lose the girl he loved the most.

After many nights of thinking, Michael decided to talk to Lucy. He wants her to go to New York with him, but Lucy has her own ties to this town. She couldn't leave behind the job and family she loved.

"Michael, I can't go with you," Lucy said, her voice choking. "But I will always be here, waiting for you to return.

Michael leaves, taking with him sweet memories and Lucy's fierce love. The months of separation passed slowly, but did not diminish their feelings for each other. They often write letters, send loving messages and make phone calls whenever possible.

Every time she receives a letter from Michael, Lucy feels like he is next to her, sharing her joys and sorrows. In those letters, Michael told about his new life, the challenges he faced and the successes he achieved. But most of all, he always reminded Lucy that his heart was always with her.

One year passed, on a bright spring day, Lucy received a special letter from Michael. In the letter, he announced that he would return to visit the town during the upcoming holiday season. Joy filled Lucy's heart, she couldn't wait to see her lover again.

The day Michael returned, Lucy stood waiting for him at the bus stop with her heart pounding. When she saw him getting off the bus, looking the same as before but somewhat more mature, she couldn't help but run to hug him.

"I'm home, Lucy," Michael whispered, his voice filled with emotion.

"I miss you so much," Lucy replied, tears of happiness welling up in her eyes.

Michael's vacation passed quickly, but it was enough to rekindle the fire of love between the two. Together they create new memories, from moonlit walks to romantic candlelit dinners.

Michael decides that he cannot live away from Lucy any longer. He asked her to build a new life with him, where they could both pursue their dreams and be together forever. Lucy, with love and confidence in the future, agreed.

The two returned to New York together, where they began a new chapter in their lives. With each other's love and support, they overcame all challenges and built a happy family.
