Mira’s blood boiled, but it didn’t last for a minute before she stepped forward and sent a huge slap across Adora’s face.
“Oh my goodness,” Adora gasped in pain, her head thrashing sideways while the sound of the slap echoed loudly across the hallway.
Adora blinked back now, surprised at the comeback. Kira had never stood up to her, and she had never had anyone to stand up for her.
“How dare you?” she groaned in a very childlike voice, stamping her legs on the floor and rubbing her cheek while trying to hold in the tears that Mira’s slap had brought to her.
Mira didn’t even allow Kira to speak. She stepped forward immediately, standing between Kira and the furious Adora.
