Banished Luna

In as much as I was to be blamed for the death of the late Alpha, I can still feel the love and support Luna has shown me .

I was sure and fully aware that Luna must have been the one to postpone the punishment day , to ensure that I was fully recovered.

I appreciate her..

I walked towards her direction.

I could see the pain in her eyes, her brown eyes were now darker, her eyes puffed out, she looked pale .

Luna was so beautiful with straight brown hair, brown eyes and angular face and slender tall frame.

I took a few more steps to where she stood.

I bowed.

“You sent for me?”

“Yes I did.” she could barely look me in the eye.

“Skye, you have been summoned to the high council.” she said looking furious.

We walked down to the council and the members were gathered already .

The looks shown on their faces could tell that things weren't going to end well.

I just had to hold back the tears that almost slipped down my eyes .

Luna asked “I want answers. What really happened?”

I responded, “we were outnumbered by the rogues,we couldn't shift. I tried my best.”

Lots of mummerings ..

Ray groaned , “you liar.”

He turned to Luna.

“You don't have to listen to this b***h, she failed to carry out her job and as a consequence she will have to face her punishment.”

Karla whined.

Luna said to Ray “ bound her with the silver cuffs,” and he did.

I screamed out to Karla but she kept mute.

Luna stood right in front of me with tears gushing down her eyes .

“I , Luna, of the iron stone pack thereby banish you from the pack”.

I fell to the ground begging and pleading for my innocence , but she turned her back on me and left the vicinity.

I can see the smile on Ray’s face.

I felt disgusted looking at his horrible face.

Ray yelled, “guards take her out and see her off to the border”.

I was dragged outside by the guard .

I asked them if I could at least pick up my clothings .

“Move”

Said the guards .

The news spread like wildfire, everyone abandoned their duties ,their eyes filled with disgust that made me bow my head in shame.

“Skye” ….. Joan and Ethan screamed, I looked up to see them running towards me with tears in their eyes.

I can imagine we have never stayed apart from each other since we were little .

I stood at a spot ,refusing to move ,I could feel the tension in their voices.

“I am so sorry we can’t do anything to help you “. Said joan while hugging me

Ethan placed a paper in my hands and hugged me .

“Move now.”

The guards said while dragging me .

I was dropped exactly at the borders ,and watched the guards standing in their exact position waiting for me to leave.

I stood there for some time confused on which lane to take .

I opened the paper given to me by ethan,and a phone number was boldly written on it. I guess I was going to look for a means to call it once I was settled .

Walking through the wood ,hearing the chirps of the birds and the trees hovering side by side, I was scared to death .

Still in shock of the incident that happened, I I panicked ,the rogue attack was still fresh in my memory .

I hastened my footsteps.

It's been hours now ,I don't know how long I have been walking .I started the journey during the day and now it's sunset already.

The cool air rushes through my burnt orange hair ,if I wasn't depressed I would have been loving the feeling.

I was tired and thirsty .I knew I couldn't stop until I was safe , but a quick rest wouldn't hurt.

I turned slightly to the left and minutes later, I was at the bank of the river.

I drank enough water , washed my face and feet , and decided to take a few minutes nap .

A twig snapped behind me,I turned quickly scrutinizing the surroundings.Growls echoed off the trees and four large wolves stepped out of their hiding spot cornering me against the water .

I was scared and I wasn't going to lie.

I couldn't run or act defensive to avoid being killed ,so I had to keep my cool .

So I had to do the only thing I could think of .

I knelt down, raised my two hands up in the air before placing them on my head as a sign of surrender .

The wolf in front of me growled a bit before receding into the woods ,I could hear bone cracking up ,he had just shifted I guess .

A tall guy with blonde hair ,in a pair of Jean walked right out of the trees , walking towards my direction .

I could tell he wasn't the Alpha but definitely a beta .

“Who are you ?” I heard that loud and clear .

Still trembling in fear of what to say .

“What are you doing on our land , you Rogue ?!” he said angrily, walking directly towards me .

“I am not a rogue”. I said firmly.

“I will ask you for the last time , what are you doing on our land ?”.

“I was asked to leave my pack .I…”

“I knew it , you left your pack ? You are a rogue “.

“No I am not “.

With traitor tears rolling down from my eyes , I couldn't believe I was going through all this ,the realization alone hit me firmly in the chest.

“Ugh - Seriously you can't be doing that , it isn't going to help you rouge”! He yelled at me .

“Move!” he said.

I stood up , wiping away the tears in my eyes .

Werewolf bylaw - if anyone commits a crime they are either taken to the Alpha ,or the Alpha comes to meet them before any punishment can be given .

How long have we been walking? Twenty minutes, twenty hours ……forever gosh this was taking longer than expected ..

Are we almost there or can we take a break?

I can tell that Liam and the others were slowing down in order to keep up with my pace and it was frustrating them .

Finally we were here.

“What pack is this?” I asked emotionlessly as I continued walking .

“Storm pack” Liam answered without turning back.

I stared in awe at the gigantic house but I didn't have time to admire its elegance because I was shoved roughly .

I bit back the growl at the tip of my tongue and marched into the house with them .

We walked through a long dark hallway and stopped outside a huge oak door.

I took a deep breath as the beta knocked once on the door .

“Come in” came a gruff voice from inside that sent chills down my spine .

The beta pushed the door open at the same time my breath hitched in my throat .
