They heard knocks on the door that awakened them both. Lexus and Daffodil jumped to their feet when they heard the knocking and then the voice calling out Lexus’ name.
“Lexus, are you awake now? A warrior is outside, looking for you.” Lexus’ Father, who was outside, said, after knocking on the door.
“I will be out in a while, Father,” Lexus replied loudly. He looked at Daffodil who scampered in picking up her clothes scattered on the floor and wearing them back.
